Canwest's Australian Operations Report First Quarter Fiscal 2009 Results
(WINNIPEG, December 17, 2008) – Canwest Global Communications Corp (“Canwest”) announced today that Ten Network Holdings Limited (“Ten Holdings”), which owns and operates the TEN Television Network (“TEN Television”) in Australia and EYE Corp.’s (“EYE”) multi-national out-of-home advertising business, reported its first quarter results for fiscal 2009 and declared its first dividend for the 2009 fiscal year. Canwest owns approximately 57% of Ten Holdings.
